Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the purchase of vehicles from 46 Cars Inc, an OMVIC-registered Canadian used-car dealership based in Toronto, Ontario. By submitting an enquiry, placing a deposit, or purchasing a vehicle, you agree to these terms.

1. Vehicle Condition & Safety Certification

Every vehicle sold by 46 Cars Inc undergoes a mandatory safety certification to Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) standards before sale. This inspection covers brakes, tires, suspension, steering, lights, electrical systems, and emissions. The safety certification is included with every vehicle at no additional cost.

Vehicles are sold as safety-certified pre-owned vehicles. While we take every care to accurately describe each vehicle's condition, specifications, and features in our listings, used vehicles may have minor cosmetic wear consistent with their age and mileage. We encourage buyers to thoroughly inspect the vehicle during the 7-day inspection period.

2. Pricing & Taxes

• All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
• HST (13% in Ontario) applies to all vehicle purchases.
• Licensing fees (approximately $250) cover plate registration and ownership transfer.
• Out-of-province buyers: your province's tax rate may differ. We will advise you of the exact amount before purchase.
• Delivery costs are separate from the vehicle price and are quoted based on distance, vehicle size, and carrier availability.

3. Deposit

A refundable deposit is required to hold a vehicle while financing is arranged and delivery or pickup is scheduled. The deposit is fully refundable if:

• Financing is not approved.
• The buyer chooses not to proceed during the 7-day inspection period.
• The vehicle does not match the listing description in a material way.

The deposit may be non-refundable if the buyer cancels after the 7-day inspection period.
