Odometer readings are an important part of a vehicle’s history because it indicates how much a vehicle has been driven, which can impact its condition and value. The last reported odometer reading shown on this report is the most recent record received by CARFAX Canada. The current odometer reading on the vehicle could be different from what’s reported here, so checking the physical odometer on the vehicle is the best way to verify the mileage.
This vehicle history report is based on information (https://www.carfax.ca/vehicle-history-data) that was reported and available to CARFAX Canada as of May 06, 2026 (or once all the data was collected from our data sources and the report was complete). CARFAX Canada draws on billions of data records from thousands of sources across North America, and we receive new historical data records every day. There may be other information about this vehicle that has not been reported to CARFAX Canada. When buying a used vehicle, we always recommend using a CARFAX Canada Vehicle History Report, along with a vehicle inspection and test drive, to make an informed decision.
There are many ways that a vehicle can sustain damage, but it typically falls into one of two categories: a motor vehicle accident (where the vehicle collides with another vehicle, a tree, an animal, etc.), or other damage which can include things like hail damage, fire, vandalism, etc. In either case, damage can range from minor (scratches, dings, etc.) to severe (broken axles, bent frame, etc.).
There are no accidents/damage reported on this vehicle.
In Canada, when a vehicle is registered with the Ministry of Transportation, “branding” is applied to classify the condition of the vehicle. Salvage, Rebuilt, Junk and Non-Repairable are examples of negative vehicle branding in Canada. In the U.S., when a vehicle is registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles, a “title” is applied to classify the condition of the vehicle. Salvage, Junk, Rebuilt, Fire, Flood, Hail and Lemon are examples of negative vehicle titles in the U.S. To understand more about each brand/title, refer to the glossary at carfax.ca/glossary.
This vehicle has been registered in the following locations in Canada (listed oldest to newest):
In the province of British Columbia with Normal branding.
In the province of Alberta with Normal branding.
We checked for: Inspection Required, Normal, Non-repairable, Rebuilt, Salvage and Stolen.
Service history gives you an idea of how the vehicle was maintained and the type of condition that it's in. It's possible that service has occurred that is not captured here (for example, the owner may have performed regular oil changes in their garage, which wouldn't show on our reports). We always recommend having the vehicle inspected by a licensed mechanic so that they can assess how the vehicle has been maintained.

Recall notices are issued when the manufacturer or transportation authority detects a potential safety issue or defect with a group of vehicles. This section outlines any open (unfixed) safety recalls on the vehicle that have been reported to CARFAX Canada. Previous safety recalls that have already been fixed (closed) will not show in this section.
Recall Description
Issue:
The subject vehicles are equipped with seat belt buckle assemblies that may have been manufactured with out-of-specification components by the supplier, resulting in interference within the latch channel. Improperly produced seat belt buckles, combined with slow insertion of the seat belt tongue plate, may prevent the seat belt buckle from fully latching.
Safety Risk:
An inability to fasten the seat belt in an occupied seat could increase the risk of injury to occupant(s) during a crash.
Precautions:
Owners are advised to fasten the seat belt firmly into the buckle with quick and direct motion. Once buckled, pull on the belt to confirm the seat belt is fully seated into the buckle. Fasten and confirm seat belts are fully buckled for all passengers who require assistance, such as children. If the seat belt does not remain secured, cannot be fastened completely, or if you experience any other issue with the seatbelt(s), contact your Hyundai dealer to have the vehicle inspected.
Corrective Actions:
Hyundai Canada will notify owners in writing advising them to bring their vehicles to a dealership for an inspection and/or replacement of the seat belt buckle assemblies, as necessary. The remedy procedure will be performed at no charge to the owner.
This recall was open as of the date/time that this report was generated. For more information, or to find out if the recall has been closed, please contact HYUNDAI or visit Hyundai's website. (https://recall.hyundaicanada.com/)
Recall Description
Issue:
The subject vehicles may not meet the allowable third row headform displacement requirements set forth in Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (“CMVSS”) No. 226, “Ejection Mitigation.”
Safety Risk:
A vehicle that fails to comply with this standard might have increased risk of injury to third row occupants during certain crashes including a rollover.
Precautions:
No precautionary measures are to be taken at this moment; however, if you experience any issues with your vehicle, please contact your dealer immediately.
Corrective Actions:
Hyundai Canada will notify owners in writing advising them to bring their vehicles to a dealership for completion of the remedy. The remedy procedure will be performed at no charge to the owner.
This recall was open as of the date/time that this report was generated. For more information, or to find out if the recall has been closed, please contact HYUNDAI or visit Hyundai's website. (https://recall.hyundaicanada.com/)
